Megane RS - 265 horses for the British market

As of yesterday, improved Renault Megane RS is available to customers ordering from the UK price of around 26,000 euros for the 256 Cup version and 30,900 euros for the 265 model ...The new model brings a more powerful version of the 2.0 liter Renault engine with four cylinders, where all changes made result with 15 hp more, a total of 265 hp and maximum torque of 360 Nm, which is an increase of 20 Nm.


The driver can choose between two driving modes - standard with 250 hp and 340 Nm and 5 percent improved consumption, while the Sport mode allows operation of all 265 hp and 360 Nm of torque, which is activated by ESC button.

In Sport mode, Megane RS 265 to the "hundred grand" speeds up to 6 seconds with a top speed of 254 km / h, which is an improvement over the previous model by 0.1 seconds and 3.2 km / h.

The new production year brings three new, optional items, which include Red Design, for limited versions 265 Trophy and Visio warning system and parking camera back.

Buyers can opt for expensive, Cup chassis package that goes with 18-inch alloy wheels with 235/40 R18 95Y Michelin Sport 2 tires, new Brembo discs, limited-slip differential and stiffer dampers.
